• The climate official met with fossil fuel lobbyists 250 times – with one-third of every engagement attended by corporate delegates.

• Several major oil corporations held discussions with officials 100 times between them.

• Oil industry representatives were present at nearly all ministerial discussion about the energy profits levy, a short-term levy against the "exceptional earnings" of North Sea energy corporations.

Official Denial

Ministers maintained the discoveries were "inaccurate", stating numerous of the companies included also had sustainable power initiatives and that these topics were often the primary subject of the meetings.
