Following quite some time of speculation, the BR game type for BF6 is finally arriving. The latest speculation indicating its arrival would happen alongside the new season were spot-on. Players can dive into the gameplay starting in just a day.

In tandem with the battle royale addition, Season 1 is also kicking off. This brings a brand-new arena, a new mode, and an expanded arsenal. What's more, Redsec is making its debut. An embedded teaser will be released at launch, giving players a preview of what's to come.

Possibly the key announcement is that this new experience will be free-to-play. Similar to established games, you do not need to own the main title to play. The intense thrill when facing another squad can't be found in any other BR game. It feels a true survival situation, and you genuinely worry if you die or survive.
Despite being a critic previously, I'm completely supportive of the battle royale since trying it.

Still, early signs are promising that the battle royale could be a true rival to popular games. Players are wishing that the best guns from the original Battlefield 6 will be available in the new mode.
