Locating a Venezuela-linked Oil Tanker 'Pursued' by American Maritime Authorities

The distinctive yellow-colored residential building visible behind helped us locate the video.
We are verifying video footage and photographs posted earlier today that depict the aftermath of a reported vehicle-borne explosive explosion that authorities in Russia state killed a high-ranking soldier in Moscow.
Russian authorities confirmed that Lt Gen Fanil Sarvarov was in the car that exploded and that he succumbed of his wounds. A probe is currently ongoing.
The initial step to verify the site from which the images originated was based on posts saying the blast happened on Yasenevaya Ulitsa in the southern district of the Russian capital.
Our analysis employed panoramic mapping services on digital map platforms and the Russian search engine Yandex to match the unique yellow hue of a nearby apartment building seen in the footage.
Identifying other structures, streetlights and the road configuration confirmed where the pictures were captured.
Additionally, we verified that the video clips were recent and that the images had not undergone digital alteration.
