Our Task Involves Exclusively Eliminating' - How The Sudanese Vicious Militia Conducted a Massacre

Militiamen chuckle as they ride on the back of a transport truck, speeding past a series of multiple corpses and driving towards the setting Sudan's sun.
"Observe this extensive accomplishment. Observe this genocide," a combatant cheers.
He grins as he turns the camera on his own face and his fellow militiamen, their RSF insignia on display: "They shall all perish in this manner."
The men are rejoicing over a mass killing that relief organizations believe resulted in the deaths of over thousands of civilians in the Sudanese metropolis of al-Fashir during October.
A Community Cut Off from the Outside
Following their control of the community under encirclement for nearly 24 months, from late summer the paramilitary force moved to strengthen its control and blockade the surviving civilian population.
Satellite images reveal that troops began to build a massive sand wall - a raised sand barrier - encircling the perimeter of el-Fasher, closing roads and halting aid.
As the siege escalated, 78 individuals were murdered in an RSF assault on a mosque on mid-September, while the UN reported 53 more were killed in aerial and artillery attacks on a displacement camp in fall.
Graphic Footage Reveals Defenseless People Gunned Down
At dawn on 26 October the RSF overwhelmed the remaining government strongholds and took control of the main compound in the community, the headquarters of the 6th Infantry Division, as the army retreated.
Perhaps the most horrific footage to emerge and examined depicted the aftermath of a atrocity at a university building on the western side of the urban area, where dozens lifeless forms were visible scattered throughout the area.
A senior individual wearing a white tunic was seated by himself amongst the bodies. The individual looked to look as a combatant armed with a rifle walked descending the staircase in the direction of him. pointing his weapon, the gunman discharged a one shot at the individual, who collapsed to the ground still.
"For what reason is this individual yet living," one combatant cried. "Shoot this person."
Orbital photography captured on late October appeared to confirm that shootings were furthermore carried out on the roads of al-Fashir, based on a report released by the academic research center.
One eyewitness who communicated stated they had observed "many of our family members being executed - these individuals were assembled in a specific area and everyone killed."
Paramilitary Commanders Try to Implement Damage Control
Following the events that ensued from the killings, paramilitary chief admitted that his forces had carried out "wrongdoings" and stated the events would be looked into.
Included among apprehended was after a report detailing his killings. Deliberately orchestrated and produced footage shared on the paramilitary's authorized messaging channel reveal the commander being escorted into a cell at a jail on the outskirts of el-Fasher.
Simultaneously, the militia and associated social media accounts started seeking to alter the narrative.
Updates showing its fighters handing out supplies to residents were disseminated by several users, while the militia's media office published multiple recordings purporting to show the compassionate management of government prisoners of war.
In spite of the online effort being used by the paramilitary, their activities in al-Fashir have provoked international outrage.
